Work description
The purpose of this brief is to commission consultants to produce designs for Improved Public Realm for Gloucester's Cathedral Quarter High Street Heritage Action Zone. The Cathedral Quarter encompasses Westgate Street and the Lanes and links off it. It is a very special public space in the heart of Gloucester, surrounded by fine historic buildings. Its potential has not been realised and this work has the potential to transform it into an attractive and vibrant public space for the benefit of people of all ages and abilities, visitors, and those who live and work in the city.
