## Description

Newcastle City Council is undertaking a procurement to appoint service provider\(s\) to deliver a Parent Infant Psychotherapy Service \(PIPS\) in Newcastle\. A PIPS is a psychotherapeutic service for parents and carers and their under twos\. It is intended for all those caring for a child aged 0-2 who are struggling to form a secure relationship with their baby\. Newcastle's service will have a particular emphasis on working with parents of newborns who are experiencing mental distress which is affecting the relationship with their baby in the immediate and longer term period\.
