Work description
This contract is an opportunity for a Refugee Specialist provider working in Cornwall to provide support for a three month period in which new families may arrive and for existing family's step down provision, which can last for a maximum of five years from their resettlement date in the UK. New families will bring additional funding to this contract, although this is Home Office Grant funding, which substantially reduces over the five year period and any changes to this funding will impact on the contract terms. The minimum contract funding is £260K for the remaining period.
A Service Provider will need to be based in Cornwall to meet the ranging needs of the families and ensure equitable geographical coverage across Cornwall.
It is intended that the responses supplied will enable the Council to develop a business proposal. Any such proposal would be subject to the development and approval of a business case, and, as such, this exercise implies no commercial commitment. This is not a formal tender document.
Participation of this soft market assessment will not prejudice suppliers participating in any future procurement.
