## Description

The National Lottery Community Fund \(the Community Fund\) has an international funding programme targeting funding to enable disabled people to improve their livelihoods in Uganda and Tanzania \(including Zanzibar\)\. £6-10 million per year is available for this programme which is expected to run until 2021 and beyond\. A range of UK-based International Non-Governmental Organisations \(INGOs\) are funded to work with local partners in these countries in pursuit of these outcomes over the life of the programme\. To date a total of £9\.2m has been awarded to 23 projects through 17 UK-based organisations, working with 24 local partners\. A pipeline of applicant organisations is currently going through the assessment process, some of which have been awarded development funding\.
