2021-124 Cost-benefit analysis for impact assessment of CLASS

Description

Ofgem requires a consultant to conduct a cost-benefit analysis of a type of voltage management technology, commonly referred to as Customer Load Active System Services (CLASS). The cost-benefit analysis will form part of an impact assessment that is being undertaken to inform Ofgem's decision on the regulatory treatment of CLASS as a balancing service in the RIIO-ED2 network price control.
