NTCA Development Site Energy Capacity Study

The principal requirement of this contract is for grid consultancy support to assess potentially viable grid connection solutions that may be required for key inward investment sites and enquiries. Site specific details will be discussed and agreed in advance with the appointed contractor, but the general expectation is that the current supply, potential supply, costs and timescales associated with potentially viable grid connections will be outlined. The appointed consultant to these works shall ensure that they utilise information in the public domain e.g. the Northern Powergrid's website contains Long Term Development Statement, Network Development Plan, Heat Maps, Embedded Capacity Register etc. so as to gain as thorough an understanding as possible of the electricity distribution network. It is also expected that the consultant shall liaise closely with the DNO to enable efficient data exchange and ensure the outputs of this project are as up to date as possible.
