Open Space, Sport and Recreation Study

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is inviting quotations for the preparation of an Open Space, Sport and Recreation Study. The Council requires a study that has been prepared consistent with the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and the Government's latest advice contained within the National Planning Practice Guidance (NPPG). It is anticipated the study will broadly follow the approach and format of that prescribed through the now revoked Planning Policy Guidance (PPG) 17: Planning for Open space, Sport and Recreation. The findings of the study will inform the approach and policies in relation to open space, sport and recreation for the council's new Local Plan.
