Beetwell Street Concrete Repairs

Description

The scheme is to undertake concrete repairs to the floor decks of Beetwell St MSCP. This involves removing loose and defective concrete around existing potholes, cleaning and treating any corroding reinforcement, introducing sacrificial anodes and reinstatement with concrete repair mortars. Identified defects, approximate volumes and specifications for the works are provided. The car-park is to remain in use throughout the works with roadways remaining open during opening times. Traffic management and/or out of hours working may be required to meet this requirement although it is permitted to close 20% of the parking bays at any one single time to facilitate the works. A period of 3-weeks has been allowed for the works. A second separate contract to undertake repairs to the external brickwork cladding will follow. A joint bid for both packages would be considered if identified separately, but each tender price should be submitted independently with the discount for both packages undertaken at the same time clearly stated.
