## Description

Develop an NDE system that is capable of recording the position, attitude and live NDT data from NDT instruments, providing a permanent record of otherwise non-recorded output\. Investigate the feasibility of developing a 6 Degrees of Freedom \(DoF\) tracking module that can be attached to handheld probes in a variety of manual Non Destructive Testing methods including UT, PAUT, EC, ECA, MIA and resonance with a special focus on UT and PAUT\. The Phase 1 final system will be able to record the position, attitude and live NDT data from the NDT instrument, providing a permanent record of otherwise non-recorded data\. The work is to be undertaken in accordance with the SBRI application 59312-446159 submitted and held by Innovate UK for the Non-Destructive Evaluation programme\.
