Air Pollution Digital Training Resource for Health Practitioners

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council (TWBC) is looking to procure an innovative digital training resource to be used by healthcare practitioners across Kent and Medway to advise patients with health problems on how to reduce their exposure to air pollution. The aim is for the healthcare practitioners to integrate information on air pollution into routine practice and create a community across Kent and Medway to support continuous professional development and future collaboration.

The digital training resource will explain:

What air pollution is, including the different pollutants Sources of air pollution Why air pollution is bad for your health How to reduce personal to air pollution.

The digital training resource will deliver: Training, local evidence and resources for practitioners Information and resources to patients and the wider public.

Key Dates & Timeline for Procurement Tender release: 12 April 2023 Expression of Interest Deadline: 12:00pm 10 May 2023 Deadline for submission of completed tenders: 12:00pm 17 May 2023 Evaluation: w/c 22 May 2023 Interviews: w/c 29 May 2023 Appointment of contractor: w/c 5 June 2023.
