## Description

North of England Commissioning Support \(NECS\) hosts the Cervical Screening Administration Service \(CSAS\) providing a call/recall element of the Programme for cervical cancer screening\. The primary function of the service is to coordinate the regular testing of participants in England as part of a public health programme aimed at protecting women from developing cervical cancer\. CSAS issues invitations and reminders to book screening appointments and provides the results from testing\. The programme communicates by letter, and each year sends around 14 million communications to participants in England\.
