Description

Increased renewable energy is identified as a priority in the Devon Carbon Plan. In addition, Devon County Council's (DCC) revised Carbon Reduction Plan identifies major investment in at least 11 MWp of renewable energy on DCC's estate as a key means to achieve its net zero target and contribute to the Devon Carbon Plan.\r \r We commissioned a review of opportunities on DCC's estate, working with Pure Energy Professionals (PEP). From this process, three former landfill sites were identified as the best immediate opportunities.
