Description
The work of the Communications Directorate is fundamental in ensuring that our stated aims are met. The website is the key portal for the public to understand the work of the CPS. It is used to share information on the CPS, developments on thematic issues (such as key casework priority areas) as well as supporting victims as they navigate the CJS. We also know from insight gathered, that CPS staff also use the website as a tool for sourcing legal updates and guidance. Having an effective website helps ensure that they have the tools available for them to undertake their duties, contributing to the successful delivery against all of the 2025 strategic priorities. By ensuring that the website is accessible, easy to navigate and engaging we reflect our values of being open and transparent, helping both the public understand our decision-making as well as supporting staff with a resource that assists them in undertaking their duties.
