Support of existing genotyping equipment

Description

NHSBT has a requirement for maintenance and consumables for the Fluovista genotyping platform. The platforms are in use in RCI laboratories for low throughput, rapid determination of red cell markers by molecular means. The supply of maintenance and consumables are needed to meet the current and future needs of NHSBT, in a cost effective manner. NHSBT has published a VEAT in November 2017 under OJEU Reference: 2017/S 213-443902. During the pre-engagement it became apparent that the market is currently limited to one supplier only that is able to meet NHSBT's requirements for this tender. Therefore NHSBT decided to award a 4 year contract for the support of existing Fluovista genotyping platforms to Immucor.
