Description
South Downs National Park Authority is looking to appoint a suitably experienced contractor for the removal and replacement of existing render and insulation as well as the replacement of rainwater goods, external lighting and sensors for the building management system at the South Downs Centre, Midhurst. The appointed contractor will have experience in delivering sensitive projects within the context of listed buildings and conservation areas. South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) took ownership of the Grade II listed site, now known as the South Downs Centre, in 2012. Bidders should refer to the Specification, Pre-Construction Information, Schedule of Works and architect's drawings provided with this Invitation to Tender which provide full details of the requirement. The works proposed are for - Removal of existing render and insulated substrate - Re-rendering in matching lime render over wood fibre board insulation, including decoration, to entire elevation of the rear wing. - Replacement external wall lights will be installed in place of existing. The fittings will be downward facing, below 500 lumens and with a colour temperature of 3000k in accordance with South Downs National Park Dark Skies Technical Advice Note Version 2.
