The University of Southampton is seeking to procure six modular low-footprint moveable wind tunnels for teaching purposes. The main use of the wind tunnels will be to teach Fluid Mechanic principles and expose students to different experimental techniques:

• Laminar/turbulent boundary layer measurements; • Force and surface and wake pressure measurement on a cylinder.

Each wind tunnels will have the following key attributes: • Quick setup, change-over, and removal time; • Modular design that allows easy switch-over between experiments; • Smallest floor space usage possible; • Easy access to all parts of the wind tunnel during use.
