Citizens' Jury - Jury Selection

Description

The purposes of this fixed term contract is to identify, select and recruit members of the public (jurors) to take part in one of two Citizens' Juries and to provide contact details of those recruited to the Environment Agency. The contract will need to sourcing approximately 20 representative participants for each citizen jury through the electoral register. The specialism of this contractor is providing randomly selected citizens (through stratified random sampling) representative of the demographics of the area, who will come together to deliberate on a given issue. To continue to protect and restore our environment, it is crucial to engage the wider population in place-based management to shape practices and deliver changes in behaviour.
