GBC PR Car Park - Lighting Upgrade, Maintenance and Repair - AWARD

Guildford Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitable NICEIC/ECA approved electrical contractor for the upgrade, maintenance and repair of its car park lighting systems.

The contractor is required to renew the existing lights to new LED lights within the first 12 months. The contractor is required to test the emergency lights and inspect all lights to ensure they are functional every month.

The contractor is also required to provide a 24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year call out/repair service. The contract to be a fully comprehensive contract, only lights or lighting systems damaged by misuse and abuse are to be chargeable.

The contract term is 5 years (60 months).

All works to be carried out in accordance with IEE Wiring Regulation BS 7671.
