The replacement policy of the council has been laptop and desktops replaced each three years and the server each five years. The City Council is expanding its work and it is anticipated the number of laptops and desktops will increase during the period of the contract The City Council does not employ anyone with specialist IT knowledge and therefore relies on its support provider for technical advice and solutions. The location of the computers is currently in the Truro Library, Pydar Street , Truro and the Tourist Information Centre in Boscawen Street, Truro.
