GBC - Kiosk & Ice Cream Mobile Catering Provision - Multi Sites RFQ

Guildford Borough Council is one of eleven Surrey district councils which includes the famous county town, Guildford. It is located in the semi-rural southwest of the County of Surrey and is well known for its wooded landscape, rolling hills, the Hogs Back, Guildford Cathedral and Castle, and of course, Guildford itself. The council provides in-house the full range of district council facilities, including waste & recycling, parks & countryside, planning services, housing & community services, leisure and car parking.

Guildford Borough Council is currently looking to procure the services of small attractive mobile catering units to offer quality refreshments from a designated pitch in the following parks and open spaces:

LOT 1 - Sutherland Memorial Park, Burpham

LOT 2 - Lakeside Nature Reserve car park, Ash

LOT 3 - Kingston Meadows, East Horsley

Sites for short stays as one licence:

LOT 4 - Chantry Wood, Shalford Park/Common, Onslow Recreation Ground,

LOT 5 - Merrow Downs car park and Burchatts Farm Car Park

LOT 6 - Tilehouse open space and Stoughton Recreation Ground

LOT 7 - Castle Grounds (small cart)

Tenderers may tender for one or more of the sites listed above for a three-year licence. Your bid will be subject to a Street Trading licence. Licensees will be permitted to trade from their pitch when the park is open. Licensees are not permitted to stay on site overnight. Licensees are not permitted to play chimes, music, run engines or use diesel or petrol generators, or create smells or odours that may cause a nuisance. The pitches do not have access to mains water, electricity or drainage.
