Work description
Dover District Council wishes to select and appoint a suitable contractor for the restoration/extension of the grade-II-listed café building in Kearsney Abbey and repairs to listed structures (Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens). The restoration requirements will include repairs to masonry, render, roof, windows, gutters, wooden floors, timber panelling, internal doors, ironmongery, new electrics and new heating. The new-build extension work includes foundations, structure, doors and glazing, stone cladding, mechanical and electrical works, internal walls, toilets, electrics and heating.

Note that in order to successfully submit your interest you will first need to register for an account on the portal. After registration is complete and you've received your login details you should return to the advert for the opportunity and express your interest.
You will then receive an email giving you a link to the documentation provided and be able to access the pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ). The PQQ is required to be completed and submitted electronically via the Kent Business Portal by no later than 17:00 on Friday 24th March 2017.
Following the evaluation of the PQQ's the shortlisted contractors will be invited to tender.
