## Description

This tender is a call-off from the NWUPC Framework Agreement for High Value Laboratory Equipment \(HVLE\) for Lot 1: Gene Expression and Genotyping Analysis Equipment, Associated Equipment, Accessories, Consumables, Maintenance and Servicing of Equipment\. The University is tendering for a high-throughput Next-Generation Sequencer \(NGS\) with an integrated Laboratory Information Management System \(LIMS\)\. The scope of the contract is for the supply, delivery, installation, training and options for a 2 year; 4 year and a 5 year service contract to begin once the 12 month warranty period has expired\. The sequencer will be used within the Newcastle University Genomic Core Facility \(GCF\) a university wide resource\. The sequencer will be operated by dedicated and experienced NGS staff and will play a central role in large-scale discovery and translational research programmes\.
