Description
Norfolk County Council wishes to procure services to provide collection and disposal of clinical sharps waste. Norfolk County Council, on behalf of all the local authorities in Norfolk, has set up a sharps waste collection service across the County to allow its residents to deposit their sharps waste at specified pharmacies. This service requires the support of a contractor with the specialist skills and experience in managing clinical waste to deliver appropriate receptacles to pharmacies that returned sharps waste can be stored in, to take away the filled receptacles and to arrange for the safe treatment and disposal of the clinical sharps waste collected. This further competition process seeks quotations for the provision of such a service.
