Work description
Efficiency East Midlands (EEM Ltd) is a procurement consortium which establishes and manages a range of Frameworks and DPS agreements. Our members include organisations providing services to the whole public sector including Housing Associations, Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, Education Providers and Emergency Services. For more information on EEM and our offering please visit: https://eem.org.uk/ EEM are looking to run a procurement exercise to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System for Demolition and associated works which will replace our existing Demolition Framework that expires in August 2020. EEM's DPS for Demolition works will cover as a minimum; • Intrusive demolition and refurbishment surveys and all associated environmental reports and surveys. • Compliance with CDM 2015 - Construction Phase Plans and Health and Safety Plans. • Site preparation and disconnection of existing services to site. • Ensuring safety of site and maintaining safe access routes where required. • Asbestos removal works associated with demolition. • Demolition work to include low and high rise demolition and a variety of demolition methods. • Waste Management and disposal by licensed carrier and disposal station and/or Reclamation of Materials. • Site finishes as required. The DPS will be split into contract value and geographical categories which will be defined within the contract notice and tender documents when published. This Prior Information Notice is being used to engage with the market and interested organisations are encouraged to respond to this notice and register interest in our Demolition DPS opportunity.
