Textile Recycling Bank Scheme

Huntingdonshire District Council is letting a contract for the following: • The provision and installation of Textile Containers to Recycling Sites within Huntingdonshire. • The emptying of deposited Textile Material on a suitably frequent or ad-hoc basis. • The regular maintenance, cleaning and if necessary replacement of Recycling Containers. • The transportation of collected textile material to a suitably qualified Reprocessor or recycling facility for onward sale. • The accurate reporting of the flow of textile Materials (Waste Data) in accordance with DEFRA guidelines. There are 27 recycling sites which are predominately sited on council owned land. Closing date for Expressions of Interest is 14 March 19.
