Work description
Ordnance Survey (OS) are seeking tenders to build and box-up of 5 prototype enclosures containing a Single Board Computer (SBC), a GNSS receiver chip, GNSS antenna and rechargeable battery. OS have developed an early prototype that uses a Raspberry Pi Zero and a Ublox GNSS Click 7 receiver https://www.mikroe.com/gnss-7-click that collects radio spectrum data. These devices will need to be deployable in the field and as such an element of weather proofing will be required. Therefore, while not necessary for the initial prototypes we would expect that any future devices that are built with this design would need to meet certain IP standards, see details below. The provider is expected to design, construct, and deliver a suitable enclosure for the units and supply all component parts. OS are available to provide feedback on initial design ideas. OS will provide the necessary code for the device to operate.
