Refuse Collection Vehicles

THIS IS A NOTICE ON BEHALF OF CHICHESTER DISTRICT COUNCIL.

A mini-competition was undertaken utilising the ESPO 215-20, Lot 1 Specialist Vehicles Framework for the Purchase of 12 diesel Refuse Collection Vehicles to replace the current aging fleet, to include warranty and servicing.

The procurement was broken down into sublots: • Item 1 - Vehicle Specification - (9 vehicles) : Rear end loading, Refuse Collection Vehicle, 26 tonne, Rear steer , short wheelbase, right hand drive fitted with split auto bin lifter and main body

• Item 2 - Vehicle Specification - (3 vehicles) : Rear end loading, Refuse Collection Vehicle, 12 -15 tonne, short wheelbase, right hand drive fitted with split auto bin lifter and main body

The contract is to start on the 21/12/2021 and will continue until 20/12/2026, including warranties and maintenance.

The anticipated value was £1.95m

Only item 1 has been awarded, with a value of approx. £1.66m. Item 2 was not awarded.
