## Description

Surrey County Council published their Direct Payment Strategy in November 2023, along with their Direct Payments Market Position Statement \(MPS\)\. One of the commitments outlined in the strategy was to investigate whether Surrey County Council should look to develop a support service working specifically with Personal Assistants \(PAs\), in order to develop and maintain a sustainable, high quality PA market in Surrey\. We are interested in identifying if there are providers in the Surrey market who are already working on the development and promotion of PAs including provision of training, support with registration, support that traditionally falls under Human Resources responsibility etc\. Surrey County Council \(SCC\) is seeking to gain a higher-level understanding of the current market for Shared Lives Services, which will inform future service specifications and any procurement process, ensuring that they reflect both current service requirements and market conditions\. Please note this is a Request for Information only and it is not for the pre-selection of providers\. SCC will subsequently inform the market if and/or when it is intended to go out to tender\. The Request for Information has been published on the Proactis portal: https://supplierlive\.proactisp2p\.com/Account/Login\.
