PME3693 - Phoenix 10 Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance Provision

This is a pre-market engagement process to determine the level of interest in providing Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance.

As an integral part of the Phoenix 10 Project, Walsall Council is contractually obliged to procure on behalf of itself and Homes England (HE) [jointly 'The Landowners'] and Henry Boot Developments Limited (HBD Ltd) Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance, comprising Combined Coverage for Site-Specific Pollution Legal Liability (SPL) - Pre-Existing Pollution Conditions Only (Claims-Made) and Project Contractors Pollution Liability (CPL) - New Pollution Conditions (Occurrence) Insurance to cover the Phoenix 10 site during the remediation period and for a period of 10 years following remediation. The minimum initial policy period required for the Site-Specific Pollution Legal Liability (SPL) insurance is 10 years

This procurement is for the Environmental Liability insurance which will be placed by the Council's existing advisors and brokers.
