The overall objective of this service is to offer counselling, which includes information, support and advice to all birth parents or relatives of children who are being placed for adoption\. This includes providing help in understanding the adoption process, making the birth parents or relatives aware of their rights and ensuring they receive emotional support should they wish to\.
