Work description
CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE FOR TRANSPARENCY PURPOSES ONLY
Currently, the British Army has no live tracking capability for commodities. The Deployable Automated Stores (DAS) is an innovative system, which will substantially improve and enhance our stock accounting, at the same time as delivering on efficiencies.
The overall purpose of this Contract will be to assist and improve the way the Army manages logistics in support of operations. The DAS has demonstrated that it is a potential solution to this, having been successfully showcased previously. It is now necessary to demonstrate that the DAS is sufficiently adaptable to support operations, through deployment and execution on Project CONVERGENCE.
