Medway Council operates, in-house, four sports centres and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Facilities across the centres include fully equipped fitness suites, a range of swimming and teaching pools, sports halls, squash courts, fitness studios, spa facilities, conference rooms, outdoor running track, outdoor football pitches. The centres attract circa two million customers per annum, with annual income generation of approximately £3.5m. One of the sports centres, Splashes, is currently closed for major redevelopment and is expected to open in Summer 2024.
