PHE has awarded a contract to Life Technologies Ltd ( Thermo Fisher Scientific) Under the PHE Microbiology Framework -Lot 2 for the provision of purchase of Quantstudio 7 Flex platforms to provide additional capacity capability to test SARS Cov 2 variant within the existing workflow to ensure compatibility. The is a PHE wide one year contract. The initial purchase is for GBP274812.91 Ex VAT,additional equipment can be purchased provided that the total value of the contract is no more than GBP 400,000 (ex. VAT)
