The Waste Management Group \(WMG\) at CCFE have identified the requirement for a high-resolution gamma-spectroscopy system to provide detailed reporting of gamma emitting radionuclides present in waste drums to allow consignment for incineration or to landfill as Low Activity Low Level Waste \(LA-LLW\)\.
