Power Purchase Agency Services

The council are looking for an organisation for a period of up to four years with a proven track record, who can deliver the following: • manage and administer the council's electricity sales from its Energy from Waste (EFW) plant to the grid including metering management, provision of monthly account statements, support and management with renewables benefits and compliance issues including Rego management, and availability data and buyer engagement • act as agent for selling the power generated via an appropriate market process to give the council a value for money price for the power generated at the EFW plant • negotiate and finalise an appropriate Power Purchase Agreement following the market process.

To achieve this the Council needs to consider the options available prior to going out to the market.

Therefore, the purpose of this notice is to seek organisations who provide these services so that these options can be considered.
