Description
Scottish Borders Housing Association (SBHA) requires the supply of building materials through a nominated main branch and supporting branch network operated by a Cirrus Consortium Materials Framework supplier. The service will be used primarily by SBHA and is available for use by any other part of SBHA (both current and future) as required. SBHA has undertaken as a mini-competition, as detailed in Regulation 33 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 #102, under the Cirrus Consortium Materials Framework 4th edition. SBHA has engaged with a single main merchant for the provision of a range of materials from an existing branch to support the SBHA internal maintenance team. SBHA will also require access to the successful merchants wider branch network from time to time to minimise travel time for operatives. The duration of the contract will be 3 years with 2 annual options to extend by a further 12 months on each occasion up to a maximum of 5 years (60 months). The value contained in this notice represents the guaranteed minimum expenditure excluding VAT over the total contract length. However, the expenditure is expected to be approximately £5,500,000 excluding VAT. SBHA accepts no liability for any inaccuracies in the expenditure estimates provided over the minimum expenditure commitment.
