## Description

Merseyside Pension Fund \(MPF\) is a Local Government Pension Fund and administered by Wirral Borough Council on behalf of five Councils in the Merseyside area and a wide range of other employing bodies\. The value of the Fund was £6\.5bn as at 30 September 2015 with 128,254 members and over 46,000 pensioners as at 31 March2015\. The contract is for the provision of an Independent Valuation for the UK direct property portfolio valued £380m as at 30 September 2015, every quarter\. \(APPENDIX 1\)\. The direct property portfolio is managed on an advisory basis with the Strategic Property Adviser, currently CBRE Capital Advisers Ltd and the Property Manager \(Operational\), currently CBRE Ltd Asset Services\. Both these contracts have recently been tendered and evaluation of the responses has not been concluded\.
