CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANCY FOR COMMUNITY LED LOCAL DEVELOPMENT

The Council is working with local partners to prepare a Stage 1 (preparatory) application for the Gateshead Goes Local Community Led Local Development Programme and is seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced consultancy to support this process and involve the following: Preparation of a Local Development Strategy, which builds on the partners initial findings and identify new areas of need as appropriate. Support the development of a Local Action Group, including a delivery model and grants system to distribute funds as part of any successful scheme. Formalisation of the Accountable Body process. Contribute to the development of the Stage 1 (preparatory Stage) application for funding including explore opportunities for matched funding for management and administration activities and accountable body status.
