## Description

Cornwall Council Open Day - 2015 -2019 Construction Framework Cornwall Council is offering an invitation to all interested Construction and Civil engineering contractors to an open briefing session on the 10 June 2015 in the Council Chamber, New County Hall, Truro\. The open day intends to inform Contractors about the New 2015-2019 Capital Construction Framework which will replace the Capital Projects Delivery Framework from 2016\. The existing framework has been used to commission over £140m of construction and civil engineering works and a similar volume of work is likely for the new framework\. As such this open day represents a real opportunity for contractors \(from SME's to Large Multi Nationals\) to provide their valuable input at the pre-procurement stage helping to inform and shape key aspects of the new framework prior to the issue of the OJEU contract notice\. Once the framework is established in 2016, it will for the next four years provide capital construction and civil engineering works and related services to Cornwall Council and other public sector clients\. The proposal is to establish five lots as follows: • Lot 1 - Construction and Civil Engineering Works and related services \(work package value: £4m and above\) • Lot 2 - Construction Works and related services \(work package value: £2m up to £4m\) • Lot 3 - Civil Engineering Works and related services \(work package value: £2m up to £4m\) • Lot 4 - Construction Works and related services \(work package value: £0 up to £2m\) • Lot 5 - Civil Engineering Works and related services \(work package value: £0 up to £2m\) To confirm your attendance and get further details on time and location please send an email to constructionframework2016@cornwall\.gov\.uk clearly stating "Capital Construction Framework 2016 - Open Day"
