Local System Overview Services

Description

Following the budget announcement of additional funding for adult social care, the Department of Health has asked CQC to undertake a programme of targeted reviews in local authority areas. These local system reviews , exercised under the Secretaries of State Section 48 powers, will be focused on the interface of health and social care and will include a review of commissioning across service interface and an assessment of the governance of resources.
