Development Management (DM) service in relation to the Brabazon Hangar proposals

Bristol City Council's Development Management (DM) service has a need to draw on additional capacity and expertise for the full range of DM activities when workloads and income require this to happen. The city is currently experiencing high levels of development interest and the service needs to respond swiftly and positively to this in order to meet statutory deadlines, performance expectations, and to maintain and improve levels of customer satisfaction and investor confidence.

In particular the Council is expecting a major pre-application submission followed by a planning application for an entertainment arena and associated uses at the Brabazon Hangar and surrounding land, Filton.
