TWBC Concession - For the provision of A Father Christmas at the Ice Rink, Calverley Grounds

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council (TWBC) is inviting tenders for the concession of a Father Christmas event at its annual ice rink in Calverley Grounds. The Ice Rink has been running in Calverley Grounds for 10 years. In our last full season 2019/2020 it attracted 41,238 skaters, with increased footfall to the area from visitors watching the skaters or who just come along for a walk within the grounds. Anecdotally we had in excess of 80,000 visitors in this period. In the2018/2019 season we attracted 37,433 skaters, and in 2017/2018 the figure was 38,728. The Ice Rink provides additional attractions including a Café and bar and various evening entertainment.
