## Description

High Performance Computing \(HPC\) infrastructure as a further competition under the Servers, Storage and & Solutions National Agreement \(SSSNA\) Lot 1 The infrastructure will be based upon multi-core nodes connected via a high-performance interconnect and high performance filesystem\. The hardware for the new cluster will operate for a five year period in Europe\. The University will purchase the hardware within the UK and will pay UK VAT\. The hardware will be shipped to a UK facility to be built, then staged in the data centre\.
