## Description

The procured service is the delivery of the Main Stage evaluation of the Global Challenges Research Fund \(GCRF\)\. In scope is only Stage 1 and Stage 2, as set out in the GCRF Foundation Stage report\. These stages address the following research questions: is GCRF relevant, fair, well targeted and well managed?; how are GCRF's signature investments working, and what have they achieved?; what results has GCRF produced or contributed to, and what has worked in terms of transforming outputs to outcomes?; and has GCRF made a difference to UK's ability to deliver cutting-edge research on global challenges for development? Stage 3, which addresses the question "Has GCRF made a difference to the sustainable and inclusive prosperity of people in developing countries? " is not in the scope\.
