Network Infrastructure

Leicestershire County Council (LCC) have a large enterprise IT infrastructure, a majority of which is hosted in privately owned data centres. As part of an on-going digital refresh programme, LCC are in the market for replacing our network infrastructure, to ensure integration and compatibility with other existing network infrastructure. The internal IT service within LCC are responsible for ensuring its IT systems are accessible on a 24*7 basis, therefore it is vital that supporting IT infrastructure is reliable and remains stable. LCC's strategic direction from a load balancing perspective has been defined for the next 5-7 which is based on network infrastructure and therefore bid responses in relation to this RFQ must propose network infrastructure products. The Services will be for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years on an annual basis.
