Insurance: vehicle fleet

Description

Provision of Fleet Insurance Services for a mixed local authority fleet (excluding the provision of insurance broking services). The split of vehicles is varied and is typical for a council vehicle fleet, comprising the following vehicle types and numbers: - Grass 8 - Cleaners 11 - Vans 22 - Small Trucks 2 - Cars 10 - Refuse 19 Insured vehicles: any private car or commercial vehicle owned by the insured or in their custody or control. Cover: Comprehensive. Permitted Use: Social domestic and pleasure purpose and in connection with the Insured's business, including commercial travelling. Permitted Drivers: Any authorised licensed driver over 25. WLBC do not have any gritting vehicles. Mileages are also relatively low due to the location of the work; average annual mileages are 20,000. Vehicles are contract hired with full repair and maintenance provision. OCRS is green for road. Goods carried: general household waste. Vehicles are stored at Skelmersdale depot. Additional information: Please download all of the tender documents listed above.
