"Lancashire County Council is seeking tenders for the provision of Recovery Services for Non-Recyclable Household Waste deposited at the Authority Waste Facilities.

In summary, the Services will comprise of the acceptance, weighing and Recovery of Non-Recyclable Household Waste that has been deposited by members of the public at the Authority Waste Facilities, and delivered to a Provider's Facility by the Authority and/or its transport contractor.

The Services are being procured on the basis of five (5) Lots: Lot 1 - North Lancashire (estimated value £6,400,000); Lot 2: South Lancashire (estimated value £8,900,000); Lot 3: East Lancashire (estimated value £6,400,000); Lot 4: Weekend Provision (estimated value £9,300,000); or Lot 5: Global (estimated value £31,000,000).
