RFQ FY21-11 Space Economics Consultant Service for North East Centre of Excellence

PROVISION OF SPECIALISED SPACE ECONOMICS CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE NORTH EAST CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE (CoE) for an approximate 4 month contract. To provide an independent review and report of regional themes and capabilities with recommendations for the CoE 1. The further development of an earlier collated landscape map and report of the North East Space sector capabilities with an in-depth market and economic analysis of the opportunities for growth for the Space Sector around the NE Centre of Excellence and proposed NE Space Hub. Part of this work should complement the cluster research work funded by NELEP 2. Undertaking a Scoping Study by evaluating and assessing the ecosystem to support the development of a North East Space Hub with a defined operating model. Based on the findings of the Scoping Study, develop a detailed Business Plan and Financial Model for investment in the Hub if appropriate. 3. Part of this exercise should also capture the North East region's space business aspirations and information that could form baseline economic indicators.
