Work description
Halton Borough Council is responsible for commissioning services to support adults with complex needs to live independently within the Halton community. Halton Borough Council is proposing to invite tenders for the provision of a 24 hour supported living service to meet the needs of a young man with severe autism and learning disabilities who lives in his own home in Widnes. Organisations should be suitably qualified and experienced in supporting adults with severe autism and learning disability to live as independently as possible in their own home. Organisations must be able to demonstrate they are capable of meeting the service specification and able to meet and exceed the quality standards set by the Council. It is proposed that the Contract will commence in March 2016, and will run for a period of two (2) years with the possibility of an extension for a further period of 12 months. We do not believe TUPE applies to this service - confirmation will be provided within the Tender documentation when issued.
