Award notice for Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyor

Description

This is an awarded contract notice. The Council is taking steps to reduce the number of households in nightly paid accommodation and this includes developing high quality affordable housing on council owned sites. To support the delivery of this scheme and the procurement route, specialist resources are required including an Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyor. The purpose of an Employer's Agent and Quantity Surveyor is to provide specialist contract advice on behalf of the Council in preparing and evaluating the tender, for the Pre-Contract Service Agreement and the Design and Build contracts, and advising the Council in terms of costs by regular valuations throughout the entire development by the Quantity Surveyor.
